Yes, from the color palette screen simply long press any color circle outside the gray line box and a window will pop up giving you the option to slide your finger through the color spectrum to a specific custom color or type in RGB codes for different color options. Then click OK and that custom color will be saved in that color circle.
You can show up to 30 colors at a time and program up to 90 lights of each color. For example, you can program 90 red, 15 orange, 1 purple, 5 white, etc. The key is to not program more than 90 per color and you can do up to 30 different colors in each pattern created.
You can rename a save pattern by simply connecting to the Bayside Trimlight app, pressing enter, then clicking on the clock icon at the bottom right. From there, you will see a list of all current patterns. Swipe left on the pattern you would like to rename, and you will see an option appear to rename or delete the pattern.
You can save up to 60 patterns in the Bayside Trimlight app. Once you exceed that limit, you will receive a message indicating that you have exceeded your pattern limit. At that point, simply click on the clock icon at the bottom right. From there, you will see a list of all current patterns. Swipe left on the patterns you would like to delete, and you will see an option appear to rename or delete the pattern.

The answer is sometimes. If the glitch or fault occurs within the RGB components, then it will only affect that light. The light may turn a different color or shut off completely. If the glitch or fault occurs within the data wire of the affected light, it may affect all the lights after it in line. Either way, it is a quick and simple repair; just reach out to your local Bayside Trimlight dealer, and they will swap out the affected light, which will correct any issue.
Typically, LED diodes with lenses can become faded or damaged due to constant sun exposure over time. However, Bayside Trimlight's residential lighting has no lens or covering; only the direct LED shows out of the channel. This means Bayside Trimlight LEDs will not fade, get cloudy, or become discolored over time like many other exterior LEDs. Furthermore, Bayside Trimlight residential LEDs face down and below the channel, which further protects them from constant sun exposure.

Yes, the Bayside Trimlight system has the capability to be paired with your home network. However, keep in mind that we cannot guarantee Bayside Trimlight will connect to your home network due to many variables outside our control, such as the type of router/modem, firewall settings, potential obstacles, and interference from other devices, etc.
Bayside Trimlight is an app-driven technology, which is why it will not work with PCs. Bayside Trimlight is designed to work with any iPhone or Android device. The app will also work with most Mac computer systems since they are also app-driven.
